Taylor hits ton; Windies post 238-6

Stafanie Taylor scored her fifth international century as she piloted West Indies to a big score in the 3rd Women’s One-Day International at Sabina Park.

The 22-year-old batted beautifully to end on 135 not out as West Indies posted 238-6 off 50 overs, after they won the toss and elected to bat first. She faced 148 balls and hit 14 fours and two sixes. She received good support from left-hander Kycia Knight and skipper Merissa Aguilleira – who both made 20.

West Indies will now look to defend the score of 239 off 50 overs which would give them a 2-1 victory in the series and maintain their excellent unbeaten record at home
