Sussex bat to stay alive

Bridgetown, Barbados - Defeat could mean an early flight back home for English visitors Sussex Sharks against Group B leaders, Barbados, in tonight's Caribbean Twenty20 match.

Sussex won the toss at the Kensington Oval and elected to bat first. The English men have only managed one win out of their three matches and are struggling to make inroads into the top two spots held by Barbados and Jamaica respectively. On the other hand, the hosts will virtually assure themselves a semi-final spot if they remain unbeaten by the end of tonight's match.
