Stoute stars as Empire demolish MCC XI by 100 runs in historic match at Lord's

London, England - ICBL Empire recorded their second win in as many matches on their historic tour here, and it was a very special one.
Playing at the world's most famous ground, Lord's, as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations, the renowned Barbados club crushed an MCC XI by 100 runs on Friday.
Led by a knock of 51 from Kevin Stoute, captain of the champion Barbados team in this year's West Indies Super50 tournament, Empire amassed 291 in 45 overs. Skipper Jamal Smith contributed 48, Carleon Brome jr 38 and Roston Chase 28.
MCC responded with 191.
Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican grabbed four for 21, off-spinner Chase, three for 39 and medium-pacer Stoute, two for 41.
Empire beat MCC XI by 100 runs.
