SSCL celebrate 25th anniversary of Cornwall’s visit

Port of Spain, Trinidad - The Secondary Schools’ Cricket League will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Cornwall Under-16 cricket team’s first visit to Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.

This year, the Cornwall team is led by Malcolm Broad who — since 1989 —- has been coming to Trinidad on an annual basis with a group of young cricketers from Cornwall during the Easter vacation. 

A Secondary Schools Cricket League XI will take on the visitors on Saturday in a match at Gilbert Park, Couva, beginning at 9.30 am. The match will be followed by a function where tokens of appreciation will be exchanged.
