Solozano hits 68 in U-19 trial

Port of Spain, Trinidad - Jeremy Solozano struck 68 retired as the two-day match between Keron Kanhai XI and the Solozano XI petered out to a tame draw concluded at Gilbert Park in California, yesterday.
The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board under-19 trial match also saw Darion Ramdhanie contributing with 30 and Jyd Goolie adding 28 as the match ended without an outright result.
Kanhai XI’s Tevon Jadoo was the most successful bowler with figures of 2/35.
On the first day, Camillo Carimbocas continued his good from with the bat this season, hitting 101 retired to put the Keron Kanhai XI in control against the Jeremy Solozano XI. The right-handed middle order batsman Carimbocas, who scored two centuries in the BG T&T under-19 InterZone tournament, made a good case for his inclusion in the national under-19 squad after hitting 11 fours to help his team close Day One on 325 for eight after bating for 103 overs.
