SCARBOROUGH, Tobago – Barbados and Windward Islands kicked off the Regional Under-17 Tournament with tense victories on Tuesday here.

The Barbadians topped defending champions Trinidad & Tobago by two wickets, as Ryan John and Emmanuel Stewart steered Windwards out of trouble to defeat Guyana by three wickets in the opening round of matches.

SCARBOROUGH, Tobago – The West Indies Cricket Board has advised that due to logistical challenges, the schedule of the Regional Under-17 Tournament has been revised.

As a result, the tournament opened on Tuesday with two matches: Guyana vs Windward Islands at Bon Accord, and Barbados vs Trinidad & Tobago at Louis D’Or.
