SDC Twenty20 continues today

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - The national phase of the Social Development Commission (SDC) Twenty20 (T20) competition continued last weekend with two featured matches at the Harmons Community Centre.
In the opening match at the venue, Tyrone Vassell hit 42 not out and Bryan Gayle struck 42 to help St Elizabeth's Junction/Bull Savannah to a five-run win against Racecourse of Clarendon.
Jason Wedderburn (46) and national player Krishmar Santokie (40) were the main scorers in Racecourse's reply.
Scores: Junction/Bull Savannah 185-8 (20 overs); Racecourse 180-4 (20 overs).
In the other match, wildcard team Treasure Beach lost by four wickets to Alligator Pond.
Scores: Treasure Beach 154-6 (20 overs); Alligator Pond 156-6 (19.5).
Strikeforce of St Thomas swept to a 62-run win over St John's East of St Catherine at Maxfield Park.
Scores: Strikeforce 205-4 (20 overs); St John's East 143-9 (20 overs).
Also at Maxfield Park, the Bridgeport team went down by 38 runs to Richmond Park.
Scores: Richmond Park 176-7 (20 overs); Bridgeport 138 (19.1 overs).
Buff Bay pulled off a five-wicket win against Clarks Town of Trelawny in a match played at the Three Hills complex.
Scores: Clarks Town 151-5 (20 overs); Buff Bay 155-5 (18.2 overs).
In another match at the Three Hills venue, St Mary's Jacks River, led by Hanchard Hamilton's unbeaten century, cruised to a 107-run victory against Old Folly of St Ann.
Scores: Jacks River 201-3 (20 overs); Old Folly 94 (13.5 overs).
At the Elgin Town Community Centre, Petersville of Westmoreland romped to a 10-wicket win over Farm Heights of St James.
Scores: Farm Heights 62 (17.3 overs); Petersville 63-0 (6.1 overs).
In the second match at the venue, wildcard team Orange beat Lucea by 48 runs.
Scores: Orange 113-7 (20 overs); Lucea 65 (16 overs).
The SDC T20 competition sees a full slate of matches across several venues today.
