Charles learns valuable life lesson from Cooper

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Effervescent Scotiabank Kiddy Cricketer Antonia Charles got to learn a valuable lesson about life, when she met one of her cricketing heroes recently.

Charles, a 10-year-old student of the San Fernando Girls Anglican School, learnt that there will be setbacks in life, but they only serve to make you stronger.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Daniel Lashley, creator of Chirpy the Cricket, the new Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket mascot, said it was exciting to see the character come to life during the Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket Interval Display on Easter Sunday at Kensington Oval.

Chirpy the Cricket made his debut on the lush green Kensington outfield accompanied by Lashley and 80 of the best Kiddy Cricketers in Barbados.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – For “Chirpy” the Cricket, sharing in the fun of the interval display by the Scotiabank Kiddy cricketers during lunch on the second day of the first Digicel Test between West Indies and Australia on Sunday at Kensington Oval was a coming home of sorts.
