Port of Spain, Trinidad - Amanda Samaroo slammed an unbeaten 156 and then snatched two wickets for 16 runs to ensure defending champions Moosai Sports stayed unbeaten in the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association’s Premier Division 40-over competition, helping them clinch a 120-run win over Technocrats in their fifth round game at El Dorado West Secondary Ground on Sunday.
Samaroo blasted 17 fours and three sixes and faced 128 balls to take her team to 281 for four after 40 overs. Also contributing to the total was Jordian Morgan who hit 66 off 61 balls with seven fours and two sixes. She and Samaroo put on 122 for the first wicket which effectively took the game away from Technocrats.
