3 former players to be Super50 Match Referees

 

St John’s, Antigua – Three former Test players will officiate as Match Referees in the Regional Super50. WICB Head Match Referee Adrian Griffith will take charge in nine of the 15 matches while the other six matches will be shared by the Guyanese duo of Colin Stuart and Reon King.

Two new caps in Jamaica's Super50 squad

 

Kingston, Jamaica, CMC – Uncapped players Jermaine Blackwood and Kenar Lewis have been selected in the Jamaica squad for this month’s West Indies Cricket Board’s Regional Super50 Championship in Guyana. Blackwood, a 19-year-old batsman, who bowls off-spin, and Lewis, a 20-year-old opener, are two former Jamaica Under-19 players.

Montserrat get better of BVI

Basseterre, St Kitts, CMC – Deno Baker and Tevin Osborne followed up sound batting with steady bowling to usher Montserrat to their first victory in the Leeward Islands One-Day competition by 40 runs over the British Virgin Islands.

Day/nighters for Super50 final & semis

Georgetown, Guyana– The Regional Super50 final and semi-final will be day night encounters at the Guyana National Stadium Providence. All three matches will also be broadcast, in full, live on ESPN.
