T&T 3-day practice match bowls off today

BALMAIN, COUVA - The national team will continue their preparations for the WICB Regional Four-Day Tournament today with another three-day practice game at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain, Couva.

The regional tournament bowls off on February 9 with the “Red Force” playing their first match against the Windward Islands on February 15.

Shiv’s son to make first class debut

GUYANA, Georgetown, Jan 23, CMC-Tagenarine Chanderpaul, son of dependable West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, is set to emulate his father by making his first-class debut as a teenager next month.

WICB to expand special membership

Port of Spain, Trinidad – The West Indies Cricket Board, at a Special Members’ Meeting recently in Port of Spain, Trinidad, expanded the list of special members to include representatives from governments of the West Indies, the Caribbean business community, media, academia and the tourism sector.

Schedule for Regional 4 Day & Super50

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that there will be a total of 48 matches in the WICB Regional 4 Day and Super50 tournaments in the 2013 season.
