Windsor Park to debut as worlds newest Test venue in packed 2011 schedule

St John's, Antigua - Windsor Park in the Caribbean nature isle of Dominica will debut as the world’s newest Test venue in July 2011 when it hosts the Third Digicel Test between West Indies and India.
 
For the packed 2011 season of cricket in the Caribbean, West Indies will host Pakistan and reigning world Test champions India for a total of two Twenty20s, ten One Day Internationals and five Tests.

West Indies and Pakistan will clash from April 21st to May 24th in a T20, five ODIs and two Tests.

Caribbean Twenty20 - Where stars are born

St John's Antigua - The West Indies Cricket Board today announced the slogan for Caribbean Twenty20 is “Where stars are born”.

“In Caribbean Twenty20 2010 we saw a number of young players coming to the fore. There was Jonathan Foo, Krishmar Santokie and Player of the Tournament Devendra Bishoo putting in outstanding performances so this slogan was more or less inevitable because Caribbean T20 is where stars are indeed born,” said WICB Commercial Manager Nelecia Yeates.

Guyana & Jamaica in mega clash for Caribbean T20 opener

St John's, Antigua - Reigning Caribbean Twenty20 champions Guyana and star studded Jamaica will clash in a mega feature encounter on the opening day of Caribbean Twenty20 2011 on January 10th at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds in Antigua.

Hampshire & Somerset join Caribbean T20

London, England - The England and Wales Cricket Board today announced that the 2010 Friends Provident t20 champions, Hampshire Royals, and runners up Somerset have accepted an invitation from the West Indies Cricket Board to take part in the Caribbean T20 from 10-23 January 2011.

Barbados & Antigua selected to host Caribbean T20 2011

St John's, Antigua - The West Indies Cricket Board announces that the Grand Final, Semi Finals and second round of Caribbean Twenty20 2011 will be held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
