Port of Spain, Trinidad - West Indies Women's cricketer Stacy-Ann King dominated the Courts-sponsored Senior Zonal 50-over competition last week at Honeymoon Park, El Dorado, leading the East zone to the crown.

On Friday, in the first of two matches, left-handed King struck an unbeaten 36 and took 4/29 to guide East to a one wicket win over North/ South\Central (NSC) in a 40-over contest due to rain. Bowling first, East dismissed NSC for 128 in 37.4 overs. Top scoring for NSC were Amando Samaroo (40) and Shenelle Lord (39). Lee Ann Kirby supported King, grabbing 2/23.

In reply, East scraped its way to victory with two balls remaining behind King's knock. Rosalie Dolabaille pitched in with 21, while Kamara Ragoobar took 3/23 for NSC.

On Saturday, East wrapped up the series 2-0 with a convincing 75-run win in a full 50-over match. King again was the top batter, hitting 60 to lead East to 190/9. Rosemarie Samaroo (2/31) and Karishma Ramdeo (2/4) tried their best to contain East, snatching two wickets apiece. Despite 43 from Samaroo, NSC could only muster 115/8 in 39 overs. Two of the NSC players did not bat because of injury. Kirbyina Alexander (2/11) and Lee Ann Kirby (2/17) were both among the wickets for East.
