Kallicharan leads East charge

Port of Spain, Trinidad - Kirstan Kallicharan was at it again yesterday, slamming 102 to lead East Zone to first innings points over Tobago on the first day of their BG T&T Under-15 InterZone match at Shaw Park in Tobago, yesterday.
Kallicharan, batting at number three, hit seven fours and seven sixes in his 60-ball knock as East made 229 for three off 30 overs in reply to Tobago’s first innings total of 118 for two off 30 overs.
East took a 111-run first innings lead and then reduced Tobago 91 for six off 24 overs in their second innings. Tobago trail by 20 runs heading into the final day which bowls off at 10 a.m. today.
His 102 yesterday was Kallicharan’s third hundred in this competition following his back-to-back centuries against North East earlier this month. He also scored 99 against North last week.
In other games yesterday, Central won first innings points over South at Presentation College ground in Chaguanas while South East took a first innings lead over South West at Sancho Road Ground and North won first innings points over North East at Brooklyn Ground in Sangre Grande.
