WINDWARD Islands captain Liam Sebastien showed no sign of fear or intimidation as his team prepares for Friday's opening match of the West Indies Regional Four-Day Cricket Championship against defending champions Jamaica — the team which beat them in the semi-finals of the recent T20 tournament.

Bonner praises Sagicor HPC

North Sound, Antigua – West Indies A Team centurion Nkrumah Bonner has praised the Sagicor High Performance Centre for improving his cricket.

“The HPC has changed us as players for the better, it is a great programme for the development of young cricketers and I improved physically, mentally and in my skills department as well during the time I spent there,” said the Jamaican all rounder about the West Indies Cricket Board programme based at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados.

Russell was brilliant - Stuart Williams

North Sound, Antigua – West Indies A Team Assistant Coach and former West Indies opening batsman Stuart Williams has hailed Andre Russell’s century as an innings of brilliance.

“It was a brilliant innings by Russell, he mixed aggression with defence, he ran well between the wickets and he built partnerships which brought us back into the game,” said the 42 year old who featured in 31 Tests and 57 One Day Internationals.
