Jadoo leads East to win in BG U-19

Port of Spain, Trinidad - Destructive bowling from Tevon Jadoo yesterday gave the East Zone a crushing win by an innings and 79 runs over the Tobago zone in the first round of the BG T&T Under-19 Interzone cricket tournament at Honeymoon Park, El Dorado.

Resuming on 31/4 in its first innings in reply to the East zone’s 238/4 declared, Tobago lost its remaining six wickets for 11 runs. Jadoo ended with six wicket for five runs, while Akil Seetahal took 2/22 to bundle out Tobago for 42.

In Tobago’s follow on, former national Under-17 batsman Dejourn Charles stood tall, scoring 64. Unfortunately, Tobago fell for 117, handing East the massive win. Jadoo grabbed 3/29 in the second innings, while Afdal Khan snatched 4/30.
