Guyana v Leewards abandoned

Georgetown, Guyana - It was not an unfamilar story about cricket in Guyana. Torrential Amazonal rain completely marred the WICB 4 Day Second Round clash between Leeward Islands at Guyana at Bourda.

Not a ball was bowled over the course of the four days as steady showers saw the Bourda putfield fluctuate from being mostly flooded to a muddy slush field and not allowing for any form of competitive cricket.

No play in Guyana or Grenada

Georgetown, Guyana - For a second day running no play was possible at the Bourda Cricket Ground in Guyana where the home side is slated to do battle with Leeward Islands. The historic Bourda field was under water due to continued heavy rains in Guyana. There was no play on Day One as the toss was not even spun. At soonest play is expect to begin late Sunday afternoon if the showers stay away.
