Georgetown, Guyana– A confident West Indies team will go into battle against Pakistan on Thursday in the start of the First Digicel Test. The Guyana National Stadium will be the venue for the much-anticipated start of the two-match rubber.

First ball is 10 am (9 am Jamaica Time).

5th day tickets free for all fans!

Georgetown, Guyana–Tickets for the fifth day of the First and Second Digicel Tests West Indies v Pakistan will be free for all fans.

The initiative is part of the continued thrust by the WICB to reward faithful fans for coming out to the games over the years in addition to bringing fans back to cricket.

Fans will still require tickets to enter the Guyana National Stadium and Warner Park on the fifth days and can collect these at the usual ticket locations in Guyana and St Kitts.

Nash: I’m mentally and physically ready

Georgetown, GuyanaWest Indies Vice Captain Brendan Nash is quietly confident of personal and team success as the Windies continue to prepare for the Digicel Test Series against Pakistan. Speaking on Tuesday, the left-hander said the build-up was “going really well” ahead of the start of the First Digicel Test at the Guyana National Stadium.

Fiery Fidel is back!

Georgetown, Guyana - Fast bowler Fidel Edwards has signalled his readiness to return to the highest level of the game.

The fiery 29-year-old was last week invited to participate in a two day practice match prior to the First Digicel Test match against Pakistan at the Guyana National Stadium.

He was out of the game for close to two years and made an impressive return for Barbados earlier this year in the WICB Regional 4 Day Tournament, with 22 wickets, to be one of the leading bowlers on the circuit.
