GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - Police Sports Club’s (PSC) impressive performance in the preliminary round of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) organised Noble House Seafoods sponsored two day second division competition, was enough to hand them the winners accolades over Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) yesterday.

Bermine looking to shrug off semis tag

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTY&SC)/National Milling Company (Namilco)/Bakewell sponsored Champion of Champions 20/20 cricket competition will start on April 21 and climax on May 26.

Proceeds from the competition will go towards the purchase of a mini-bus to assist in the transportation needs of the RHTY&SC.

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - Opener Andrew Lyght Jr struck nine sixes and three fours in his pugnacious 77 which handed hosts Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) a 96-run lead over Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) at the end of the first day of their Georgetown Cricket Association/Heroes Cup first division contest at Queenstown yesterday.

Bailey and Pestano-Belle hit half-centuries

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - Treon Forde, Bernard Bailey and Martin Pestano-Belle all struck patient half- centuries for hosts Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), on the opening day their Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)-organised, Noble House Seafoods-sponsored second division final against Police Sports Club (PSC) at the GCC ground yesterday.
