Chanderpaul slams two centuries

GEORGETOWN, Guyana - West Indies middle-order batsman, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, slammed two stroked-filled centuries to lead Unity Sports Club in separate limited over matches over the weekend.

The dependable batsmen scored a magnificent 159 as Unity Sports Club registered a 145-run win over Canal Number One Sports Club on Saturday.

Jamaican Michael Muirhead appointed new WICB CEO

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that accomplished management consultant Michael Muirhead has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the regional governing body.

The Board of Directors approved Mr. Muirhead’s appointment at a meeting in Barbados at the weekend. Mr. Muirhead’s appointment is for three years.
