Seemangal, Lall spur Enmore to victory over Wales

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - The Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club (ECCCC) tasted victory for the first time since its resuscitation by beating Wales by 15 runs last Sunday at the Wales Community Centre ground.

The East Coast Demerara team was inspired through an all-round performance led by Chandraban Seemangal and Premraj Lall.

CWC Hunters, Karibee Rice Angels win Banks Beer Beach 10/10 tournament

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - Crabwood Creek Hunters and Karibee Rice Angels became the male and female winners of the Banks Beer 10/10 beach softball cricket competition.

The curtains came down on the month-long competition Sunday night at the Number 63 beach. In the men’s final Hunters made easy work of Capo’s XI to take home the title and $150,000.

Wins for Universal DVD Young Warriors, Police, Bermine and Upper Corentyne

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - The Berbice Cricket Board Universal DVD-sponsored First Division T20 Cricket Competition commenced last Saturday with four first round matches. Universal DVD Young Warriors, Police, Bermine and Upper Corentyne were the victorious teams.
