Everest Masters take on Florida Masters today

Georgetown, Guyana - As part of activities to observe its 100th anniversary, Everest Cricket Club’s Masters team will take on Masters of Florida Cricket Academy in a feature 30-over hardball game, starting at 11:00h.

The teams will be attired in coloured uniforms and white balls be will be used.

The home team will be led by Rajesh Singh, while the playing XI will come from former national wicketkeeper/batsman Sheik Mohamed, Basil Persaud, former West Indies Under-19 selectee Hemraj Garbarran, Shaheed Mohamed, former first-class batsman and coach Rabindranauth Seeram, David Harper, Rakesh Gangaram, Sudesh Persaud, Paul Parsram, Asif Khan, Ronald Jaisingh, Jhonny Azeez and former national opener Rohan Sarjoo.

Masters of Florida Cricket Academy team comprises Wayne Ramnarine, Mohamed Sadick, Brandon Dunbar, Kemar Wright, Neville Dawkins, Ayaz Mohamed, Jaikaran Babooram, AltabMohamed, Munzin Nancoo, Hal Martin, Ricky Kissoon, Cornel White and Jason Nancoo.

After the game, a domino competition will get underway at 18:00h, while patrons will be entertained by live Indian/English karaoke. Admission is free.
