English youth clubs to tour Antigua

St. John’s Antigua- Three English based youth cricket clubs will visit Antigua & Barbuda next month. The Rokeby Cricket Club’s Under-13 players will be here from April 2 to 10, and will play matches against their peers.

The Leigh Academy will also visit the country and will play two matches against their Under-14 peers.

The Parkside Cricket Club’s tour from April 6 to 13 will see them play a series of matches against Under-13 and Under-14 teams here.

The tours were organised by Richie Rich Sports and Leisure in conjunction with Indigo Event Services headed by Richie Richardson and Tracy Guerrero.

The cricket coaches in the Sports Division along with Schools Cricket Co-ordinator Austin Richards Sr will be organising the matches and venues during the teams’ visit to Antigua & Barbuda.

In the meantime, the Junior Schools Cricket Division in the United Insurance sponsored tournament will commence next month when schools reopen after the Easter vacation.

All Saints Secondary are the defending champions in the Junior Division.
