Christ Church Dolphins crush St. George by 81 runs to book semis spot in Inter-Parish T20 tourney

Bridgetown, Barbados - Christ Church Dolphins brushed aside St. George Pioneers by 81 runs to duly become the third team to reach the semi-finals of the 2013 UWI CO Williams Inter-Parish Twenty20 competition on Friday night.

Led by a brisk 46 from captain and first-class player Carlos Brathwaite, Christ Church scored 162 for eight off 20 overs after losing the toss at the 3Ws Oval.

Brathwaite faced only 24 balls and slammed four sixes and one four. The Hope brothers, Kyle, with 29 and Shai, who made 28, helped in setting up what turned out to be an imposing total.

Rachad Forde took four for 31 off four overs. 

St. George Pioneers were dismissed for 81 in 19.1 overs. Opener Kevon Beckles made 29.

Raymond Bynoe picked up three for ten and Nikolai Charles, two for 19 - both off four overs.
