Carimbocas ton puts North in control

Port of Spain, Trinidad - North Zone Under-19 batsman Camillo Carimbocas slammed his second successive century of the BG T&T Under-19 InterZone tournament to put his team in a good position on the first day of their second round match against Tobago at Shaw Park, in Tobago yesterday.
Carimbocas, who scored 101 not out against North East last week, hit an unbeaten 117 yesterday as North, who are joint defending champions with Central, posted 390 for six declared. Tobago will start their first innings today when the match continues from 9:30 a.m.
West Indies Under-19 batsman Jeremy Solozano also scored a ton yesterday, hitting 136 for East as they posted 234 for five declared against North East at Brooklyn Ground in Sangre Grande.
North East were 18 for two at stumps yesterday. All matches continue from 9.30 a.m. today.
