Windwards reach semis with great win

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Windward Islands stormed into the semi-finals of the Caribbean Twenty20 tournament, following a typically enterprising 65 from Johnson Charles that helped them knock two-time champions Guyana out with a five-wicket victory under the Duckworth Lewis Method in the wee hours of Friday.

Canada bat first against T&T

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Canada won the toss and chose to bat against Trinidad & Tobago in their Group-A match of the Caribbean Twenty20 tournament on Thursday at Kensington Oval.

Canada have made two changes to their line-up with Zubin Surkari and Manny Aulakh coming in to replace Salman Nazar and Jeremy Gordon.

T&T have made one change – Jason Mohammed swapping places with Sherwin Ganga. T&T are second in the group with eight points and Canada are rooted at the bottom with no points.

Bridgetown, Barbados – Tino Best and Fidel Edwards bowled Barbados to a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Sussex on Wednesday night to make it three wins out of three in the WICB’s Caribbean T20.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Ruthless fast bowling from Tino Best and Fidel Edwards positioned them and purposeful batting ushered Barbados to an eight-wicket victory over Sussex Sharks on Wednesday, virtually sewing up a place in the semi-finals of the Caribbean Twenty20 tournament.
