President hails TTCB hosting of CT20

Gros Islet, St Lucia – President of the West Indies Cricket Board, Dr. Julian Hunte has praised the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board’s hosting of the preliminary round of the Caribbean Twenty20.

“The WICB must commend the TTCB for the simply outstanding job in hosting the preliminary matches,” Dr. Hunte said.

Cooper to miss the rest of CT20

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - All-rounder Kevon Cooper will miss Trinidad and Tobago’s remaining matches in the Caribbean T20 tournament due to professional commitments overseas.

The medium pacer was due to leave here Monday for the second season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Twenty/20 competition starting on Friday.

The Trinis played unbeaten at home to record three wins and a no-result due to a wash-out, and stand top of the charts with 13 points.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – In-form left-hander Darren Bravo says Trinidad and Tobago will not be relaxing for the second phase of the Caribbean Twenty20 starting in St Lucia Tuesday, despite topping the standings at the end of the first leg here Saturday night.
