Bridgetown, Barbados - Shamarh Brooks' XI beat Sulieman Benn's XI by four wickets with four balls to spare in the second Barbados limited overs trial match at Desmond Haynes Oval today.

Chasing 245 to win in 44 overs, Brooks' XI responded scored 245 for six in 43.2 overs.

All-rounder Kevin Stoute topscored with 80 off 76 balls. He struck four fours and the same number of sixes.

Omar Phillips was bowled by fast bowler Fidel Edwards for five (90-1; 3 overs); his opening partner Rashidi Boucher was caught by Roston Chase off Edwards for 19 (243-2; 4.4 overs); Shamarh Brooks, cutting, was caught at point by Jonathan Carter off pacer Dawayne Sealy for seven (45-3; 7.5 overs); Shai Hope, also cutting, was well caught low at point, again by Carter off Sealy for four (54-4; 10 overs); Stoute was caught and bowled by leg-spinner Shadd Simmons (147-5; 29.1 overs) and Kenroy Williams was run out for 44 (196-6; 38 overs).
