Black re-elected president of WBCA

Georgetown, Guyana - David Black was re-elected unopposed as the president of the West Berbice Cricket Association (WBCA) for a 10th consecutive term, when the association held its annual general meeting on February 6 at the WBCA head office, D’Edward Village, West Coast Berbice.
Black will be assisted by Tagenarine Ramroop as the vice president. Secretary is Carol Nurse, while Lochan Muklall will be Nurse’s assistant.
Carl Peterkin will fill the role of treasurer, with Rabindrauth Saywack serving as assistant treasurer.
The other members elected to serve on the association are Wayne Fraser, Jaipaul Heerall and Ouditt Gossai.
Blairmont and Hopetown Cricket Clubs have not yet confirmed their representatives.
Abel Seetaram was appointed as the public relations officer for the association.
Meanwhile, Black has pledged his continued commitment toward the development of the game at all levels.
He also indicated that cricket clubs can look forward to a good year of cricket, as the WBCA will be introducing more club cricket at all stages, with good incentives.
