Battle of veterans in Leo John Over-40 final

Port of Spain, Trinidad - You can put it down to a battle of veteran cricketers when D&D Sports meet defending champions Central Trinidad Touring Team in the final of the Leo John Islandwide Seniors Cricket Over-40 series.

Action in the final of the 12th edition of the competition, jointly sponsored by National Lotteries Control Board and National Gas Company, is scheduled for tomorrow at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain Couva. The teams will be enjoined in battle from 1 pm. 

On the D&D squad will be ex-Trinidad and Tobago opening batsman Deonarine Deyal and seam bowler Richard Sieuchan, while set to turn out for Central are Rajendra Mangalie, Robert Mahabir. Narine Bideshi and ex-West Indies Test opening batsman Suruj Ragoonath. 

Before the start, MP for the area Rudrinath Indarsingh and LJ president Leo John will meet the players. 

And following the end of the game, trophies will be presented.
