Tino looking to put his Best foot forward

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Fast bowler Tino Best is overjoyed to be recalled to the West Indies team for the upcoming Digicel Series against Australia, starting next week in St Vincent. The livewire 30-year-old will be looking to make the most of the golden opportunity and try to re-establish himself in the team.

Regional 4-Day resumes tomorrow …

ST JOHN’S, Antigua - The Regional 4-Day tournament resumes tomorrow with fifth round of matches, following a one-week break last weekend. And  Jamaica’s  captain Tamar Lambert said his side will continue to play hard, as they seek to win the tournament for a fifth straight year.

Three English teams for Pro Cricket camp

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - Six English county cricket teams will be taking part in the 3rd Annual Barbados Pre-Season Pro Cricket Camp which will run from March 15 to 25 with $15 000 prize money at stake.

The camp, which is organized by the Barbados Tourism Authority, incorporates The Barbados T20 Cup and The Barbados T20 Plate.

Guyana, Barbados to be played

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Guyana’s fifth round Regional Four-Day clash with Barbados starting Friday will go ahead as planned, the West Indies Cricket Board confirmed Tuesday.

Deonarine, Narine lead the pack

T&T offspinner Sunil Narine is currently the leading wicket-taker in the Regional Four Day Tournament, despite having played in one less match than the other bowlers in the top five. The 23-year-old, who orchestrated the Red Force's victories over CCC and the Windward Islands, has now taken 31 scalps in three games (ave:9.61).
