New format brings excitement to CT20

Barbados hammers T&T ‘B’ in warm-up

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - A match winning performance from Barbados captain Dwayne Smith led them to a commanding 77 run win over Trinidad and Tobago’s ‘B’ team in a practice match here on Thursday.

Smith slammed an unbeaten 71 as the Bajans reached 144 for three of their 20 overs while the Trinidadians crashed to 78 all out in 19 overs.    

CT20 ticket sales start in Trinidad

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad – Cricket fans will get the opportunity to secure early-bird tickets for the West Indies Cricket Board’s Caribbean T20 2013 when the ticket booths in Trinidad open on Monday at 9 am.

Holder aims to use experience

Bridgetown, Barbados – Allrounder Jason Holder believes a good showing in the upcoming West Indies Cricket Board’s season could see him being catapulted into the forefront of the thinking of the WICB Selection Panel.
