All T&T cricketers to wear black armbands

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - President of the T&T Cricket Board Azim Bassarath has announced black armbands will be worn by players involved in all T&TCB competitions this weekend.

He said the gesture is a mark of respect for the recent passing of former administrative manager of the T&TCB Rambhai Patel who died on Monday. 

The former Central Zone and T&TCB official will be cremated on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Waterloo Cremation Site after a funeral service from 10 am at the house of mourning Max Murphy Street, Chaguanas. 

Bassarath said on Wednesday that matches this weekend include zonal and national league fixtures. Additionally BGTT matches carded for Friday have been postponed.
