Scotiabank is saying goodbye to Clarence the Crab! - Kiddy Cricket Mascot since 1998!

 

 

Launches New Mascot Competition

Clarence has been the 'front man' for the Kiddy Cricket programme for over a decade! He’s now ready to retire, and so it’s now time for a new mascot! From January 1st- Feb 18th, 2011,we are inviting children 7-12 years old to enter the KIDDY CRICKET DESIGN A MASCOT COMPETITION, and win fantastic prizes, including a Laptop, a Nintendo DS and an MP3 player!


Competition Details

Stages of Competition – The Mascot Competition will begin on a Territorial Level to encourage more local participation & end with a Regional judging of the 1st place winners of the participating territories.

Judging Panel – The judging panel on each Territorial level will comprise of the TDO and a member of the local head office of Scotiabank. WICB & Scotiabank Regional will sit on the judging panel for the Regional Level Competition.

Entries - Entry drop boxes will be located at the local branches. (Entries can also be mailed to the local branches) The local branches will then forward all entries to the local head office for processing by the judging panel. (TDO & Local Scotiabank head office rep. to coordinate)

Entries will be judged on:

  • Originality
  • Reflection of the Caribbean
  • Use of colours (kids friendly and use of sponsors colours)
  • Use of cricket imagery

 

Prizes for National Winners

First prize: One Nintendo DS
Second prize: One MP3 player
Third prize: One Scotiabank Gift basket
Regional grand prize: One laptop computer

 

All artwork and each entry submitted for the Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket Mascot Competition becomes the property of the WICB and may be adapted or modified at the sole discretion of WICB.
