NOTTINGHAM, England - Consistent batting from their top-order helped West Indies set England 290 to win the third and final One-day International on Saturday at Trent Bridge.

West Indies, choosing to bat, totalled 289 for five from their allocation of 50 overs.

Runako Morton hit a determined, undefeated 82 from 89 balls and captain Chris Gayle was dismissed for the same score off 126 deliveries to lead the way.

Dwayne Bravo supported with 43 off 24 deliveries and Shivnarine Chanderpaul was dismissed for the first time in the series for 33 off 47 balls.

Liam Plunkett was England's most successful bowler with three wickets for 59 runs from 10 overs and James Anderson snared two for 51 from the same number of overs.

The consistency of the West Indies batting was reflected in Gayle adding 77 for the second wicket with Chanderpaul, then 85 for the fourth wicket with Morton before he was caught and bowled off Plunkett in the 42nd over.

Bravo came to the wicket and brought the innings to life when he added a valuable 92 for the fifth wicket with Morton before his dismissal bowled off the inside edge by Anderson off the penultimate delivery of the innings.

The West Indies side is unchanged, but England have brought Plunkett and Monty Panesar back into their 11 for Ryan Sidebottom and Michael Yardy.

The series is level 1-1, after England won the first match last Sunday at Lord's by 79 runs and West Indies rebounded to win the second match on Wednesday at Edgbaston by 61 runs.
