No play on Thursday in Caribbean T20 Group B

There was no play on Thursday in the final round of preliminary matches in Group B of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Caribbean T20 tournament. Heavy rain all day forced the match officials and organizers to call off the 4 pm match between Barbados and Guyana and the 8 pm match between Windward Islands and Combined Campuses & Colleges slated for Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.

Barbados and Guyana both ended on nine points while CCC and the Windwards both ended with one point. The Barbadians finished in the top spot of Group B with a superior Net Run Rate of +0.975 ahead of the Guyanese (+0.361). CCC place third (-0.162) followed by Windwards (-1.185).

Group A was decided a day earlier with Trinidad and Tobago on top with 12 points. Jamaica finished second with eight points followed by Leeward Islands with one point (-0.730) while Canada finished in fourth spot with one point (-2.565).
