Play abandoned in CT20 Match 9 -- Canada v Leeward Islands

Play in the West Indies Cricket Board Caribbean T20 Group A match between Leeward Islands and Canada was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Wednesday afternoon. Heavy rain shortly before the scheduled 4 pm start forced the match officials to call off the match.Each team got one point.

Leewards finished third in group with one point (Net Run Rate -0.730) while the Canadians finished in fourth spot with one point (Net Run Rate -2.565). The winners of the group will be decided later tonight when Jamaica face Trinidad and Tobago. Both teams are on eight points following victories in their first two matches at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
