We will look at all areas of our game as we aim to get off to a good start in this series,” Gibson said.

“It’s an exciting day for me to be sitting as head coach of West Indies cricket. I have always dreamed of making a contribution to West Indies cricket and now I have the opportunity to so just that. I will be trying to motivate the players to get the best out of their ability. As a player I didn’t think I was blessed with loads of ability, but what I was able to do was work hard. I believe I got the most of my ability. I want the players to believe in their ability and work hard to improve with every opportunity.”
