Fireworks from Morris as Bajans rattle up 180-6

Fantastic power-hitting from wicket-keeper Carlo Morris piloted Barbados to 180-6 against Combined Campuses & Colleges in Match 4 of the West Indies Board’s Caribbean T20 Tournament at Kensington Oval on Friday night.

The tall 30-year-old smashed a T20 best score of 42 not out – with three towering sixes from just 21 balls – to give the innings a rousing finish after opener Kirk Edwards provided the ideal start with 45 from 36 balls. At the end bottom end of the innings Morris added an unbroken seventh wicket stand of 49 from just four overs with skipper Ryan Hinds, who made 12 not out from seven balls.
