Fans can catch action at ARG

ST. JOHN'S, Antigua -- Cricket lovers will have the opportunity to watch the 3rd Digicel Test live from the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) when play begins at 10 am on Sunday, February 15, 2009. This is just one of the measures being taken by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) to ensure that fans have every opportunity to enjoy this extra Test Match of the Digicel Series 2009.

The WICB is also catering to the needs of the thousands of patrons who purchased tickets for the abandoned 2nd Digicel Test, which took place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. These tickets will be honored – including tickets and stubs from the aborted first day’s play -- Friday, February 13. These tickets, as well as tickets purchased for the third day’s play will be valid for entry on Sunday, February 15.

Tickets purchased for the second day and the fourth day of the 2nd Digicel Test are valid for Monday, February 16 and fifth day tickets for the 1st Digicel Test are valid for Tuesday, February 17.

Persons who bought tickets for the North Stand (at Sir Viv Richards Stadium) will be seated in the Richie Richardson Stand and those who purchased seats for the South Stand (at Sir Viv Richards Stadium) will be seated in the Andy Roberts Stand.

General ticket sales for days four and five of the 3rd Digicel Test will begin on Tuesday, and can be purchased from the WICB’s ticket office, located outside the main gate at the ARG.

Fans who do not wish to attend the 3rd Digicel Test can request a refund be either obtaining a refund request form from the WICB ticket office or from the WICB website: www.windiescricket.com. Patrons who purchased their tickets through a Tour Operator will have to submit their refund request to their Tour Operator and they will have to attach either the ticket stub and or tickets.
