Louise's farewell

Memories...

This was the theme of a farewell function held at the Jolly Beach Resort on Sunday, August 12, for Louise Samon, Executive Assistant to the Chief Cricket Operations Officer, who retired from the WICB after eleven years of dedicated service.

In a letter to Louise, the new President, the Hon. Dr. Julian R. Hunte said, "Your departure will leave a major gap in the institutional memory of the Board." He also commended her commitment and hard work.

Speeches and presentations by her previous and present managers, an audio-visual presentation on significant aspects of Louise's personality and relationships, and a tribute by her daughter, Kai, were the highlights of an occasion that was both memorable and moving.
